You are correct George.

Piels Brothers - Young & Rubicam Advertising Agency created the classic team of Bert & Harry (a.k.a. The Piels Brothers), the fictitious animated owners and pitchmen for Brooklyn's Piel Brothers brewery (now defunct). Their voices were provided by the comic talents of Bob Elliott & Ray Goulding. Bert (Ray) was a loudmouth and Harry (Bob) was the soft-spoken one who always had to calm down Bert when something went wrong on the TV spot.
The first Harry & Bert commercials aired December 1955 and ran until 1960. The campaign was reactivated in 1975. The TV cartoons were drawn by Jack Side Botham, Jr.
