Since the mid 'fifties Jackson Heights' Greystone Apartments have featured a streetful of Christmas trees on top of the entranceways to each building. I was living at 35-22 80th St the year it started. First there were only four trees; by two years all the apartment buildings participated. Glad it's still going strong!
